Tamil Reading - "Padippum Inikkum"
The program was implemented in 13000 schools in 135 blocks in 9 districts, reaching out to nearly 8,00,000 children! An intense program called "Padippum Inikkum" was run in 7300 schools in 5 districts with Govt. support and a less intense reading excitement campaign in 6,000 schools in 4 more districts.

Maths - "Kanakkil Kondattam"
The maths program was implemented in Govt. schools at the middle school level when new, often abstract concepts are introduced. Puzzles and paradoxes were used to intrigue children, arousing curiosity about concepts that they might not have otherwise been motivated to learn.

Science - "Ariviyal Anandam"
The program was implemented in 300 schools in 12 blocks in 7 districts and 106 child labour schools in Krishnagiri. With UNICEF's support, the Krishnagiri Collector expanded this program to all 400 middle schools in the district. 1000 schools across the state were supplied Science Kits and Models.

English - "Let's Speak English"
The program worked at enabling students in class 4 & 5 in Tamil medium Government and Corporation schools understand and speak English. The module encouraged students to shed their inhibitions about learning a new language.

Computer Literacy
The computer literacy program was designed to benefit students in school as well as women who could make it to the centre. The program aimed at reducing the digital divide between the urban and rural giving the later a claim to equal oppourtunity.

Eureka Village Libraries
Libraries were run in 2000 village libraries in clusters of 30-50 villages each in 42 blocks - reaching out to 1, 00,000 children. Apart from circulating books, these libraries would also conduct regular activities for children and make learning fun.

Toy Van
A child's dream van - filled with toys, games, puzzles and stuffed animals was be driven from Govt. Balawadi to another for a period of 2 hours in each giving children the opportunity to plays with toys that they didn't otherwise have access to.
