Today more than a 100 full-timers at AID INDIA from all over TN participated in the Annual Project Review. The two-day workshop showcased the work of AID INDIA in the last one year.

The workshop started with a session on the dynamics of a Large Scale Project. The aim of this project is to ensure that ‘Every Child Can Read’. The session included various aspects of the Reading project and the Pre-Primary Project followed by a group discussion facilitated by Ms. Chandra Anil. There was also a special presentation by Dr. Ravishankar on ‘What went well this year’.

The second session showcased the methodology and processes in creating the Right Content for projects such as the Primary Math Project, the English Project and the Resources Project. This session was facilitated by Dr. Ravishankar. Mr. Dhamodharan presented a special paper on Organizational Structure.

Community participation is a key factor in spreading awareness about quality education. The focus of the second day of the meet was on Village Communities and Campaigning. Mr. Dhamodharan facilitated a group discussion in this session based on subjects such as Village libraries, Community Learning Centers, the Read India Campaign and the Eureka Books Campaign. There was also a special presentation on ‘Other AID TN initiatives’

The Meeting ended with GDs and presentations on the Science Program, Advanced Math Project, Scholarship project and the Eureka Schools Project. The session was facilitated by Ms. Gomathi.
