Pyramid – Oru Ariviyal Pudhir – By Pradeep
One day Pradeep, studying 2nd Year Engineering at Anna University, Chennai, called me and said that he has written a book called “Pyramid - Oru Ariviyal Pudhir” – meaning Pyramid – A Science Quiz which he wanted to publish through our Eureka Books resource network. I asked him to call me back after a week. So, he called me after a week and reminded me the same. I asked him to come to Eureka Books office and show me the proof. He came over to our office and gave the articles in a small file which was hand written. In the meanwhile I asked him as an engineering student, what inspired you to bring this kind of book.
He said the inspiration was when he went to Higginbotham’s to buy some books and he bought our book - “The Mystery of Earth’s Shape – Tamil”. He saw the note in the last page of the book - “All the above materials have been developed a team of volunteers consisting of educationalists, engineers, scientists and other professionals across the world, who are part of the Eureka Books resource network. We are constantly looking to expand our titles with new forms and content. If you interested, please contact us at the address below.”
And this made him to bring out such a wonderful book on Pyramids.
Two days later, I took that file and started reading it. It was really amazing and interesting to read the historical facts of Pyramids. I advised our Resource Team to bring out this book on Pyramids immediately.
